Deportation

The Obama administration recently announced a policy shift for the deportation of illegal aliens. Most of us know that this is directed towards Mexico. The shift, as I understand it, is to place a priority on law violators, and to "set aside" non criminal cases. This placing of cases to "the back burner" is American politics placing hope into the hearts of many, while in reality, it is just a precursor to the cardiac surgery that is forthcoming.

Case in point. USA Today, 12/05/2011, the Ramos case details the deportation of a mother of three. She has no criminal record, hard working, and paying taxes. She has been in the United States for our twenty years. Read this story.

I have traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Central America. There are no jobs, no hope. The jobs that we do not take here in the U. S., the house cleaners, the crop pickers; these are the positions filled by many illegal aliens. No not all of them, but most.

Now, I for one support proper documentation and legal entry into our country, as well as other countries. However, I also believe that there is an exception to every rule. The Ramos case is that exception. The Obama Administration has once again placed false hope into the heart of an American! Yes, Ms. Ramos is an American.

In support of Ms. Ramos, whom I do not know, forward this message so that others can support her return to her children. Maybe, just maybe, we can get it right for a change.
