Of course, you know EVERY day is Earth Day and that it’s those little things that make a difference. In honor of Earth Day, I’ve outlined a few of my favorites below:

Say “food only” when ordering takeout to avoid those soy sauce packages and plastic utensils.
Compost. We keep our scraps in a coffee tin and when it fills, we add them to our larger compost bin outside. Don’t have an outside? Many cities have compost drop-off spots. We only throw out trash once a week since so much ends up in the compost.
Tote a metal fork, metal straw, and reusable water bottle everywhere. This lets you sip your latte or nosh on your takeout without adding more plastic to the landfill.
