When the Stars Moved
As the position of the stars are not constant, the ancient religion of the Stone Age would clearly have faced a major problem.
Astronomers would gradually become aware that the link between the stars and the places they marked on Earth were slowly changing. So, the question is, could this be related to the decision by ancient civilisations to abandon specific sites?
I personally think this was the case in the Amazon Jungle, where the geoglyphs that were recently discovered are successfully marked by the proposed astronomical map.
However...it might be now possible to test this theory at another site; as the proposed world map is linked to the precession of the North Pole Star, and it was required to reset the proposed world map in 2012 (which coincidentally is the same year that the Mayan Calendar reset) all sites that used the map would have experienced the same problem. Thus the same phenomena should have occurred at numerous world sites.
So, it might be possible to look at various related sites (such as the Easter Islands) for additional supporting evidence.
In this theory, the map seems to argue there should be a layer of archaeological remains (perhaps hidden under the stone statures) that coincide with the last reset of the Precession Cycle, which was 25673 years ago.
So far, no archaeologist has looked that far back, mainly because it is thought that the islands were not settled at this distant time period. However, it is now known that the earliest agriculture started in the southwest Pacific Islands about 22,000 years ago.
So....I wonder.
