Week #16 Round-up

I’d hoped that I would have gotten another blog post done over the weekend (I was able to do “Year of the Shadow” post on Saturday), but due to the Easter Holiday and trying to get ready for Easter Service and school, I simply ran out of time.

Writing

Ship of Shadows Graphic Novel: I printed out the pages that I’ve done so far through issue 2 and I’m going to rough draft them out at night after work and will work on typing them into the script on the Mac. The Independent: The Independent is the “space truck” story that I’ve been working on. I got partially through a 2nd draft when I had to stop for school. I’m starting it back up, but I’m starting at the beginning because I have a several new ideas that I’d like to integrate into the universe. I, Mage and Project Sage: Still in the “pre-production” stage of fleshing out my characters, ideas, and plot for the world.

Gaming

Finished Gravel, a racing game that I’ve been playing for a while now. I finally managed to get 100% on the game by completing 10 online races (best I could manage was a 2nd place, but luckily I only had to play, and not win, the online mode–this is the way online trophies should be done, if they have to be done at all). I now have my 17th Platinum Trophy–Good job, me!Started Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Edition. I started this one on Christmas, but abandoned it while trying to find my “gaming focus.” I’m about 6% complete (according to the game’s internal tracker), but I highly doubt I’ll try to get the Platinum Trophy (do 100% of the game’s challenges). On this one, I’ll probably be content to see the credits roll.

Media

Still no love for GoT (Game of Thrones). Just not my “cup of tea.”Watched Aquaman after Easter Dinner. I really liked it. I will write up a more extensive review (hopefully, this week), but I thought that it was fun.Watched Season 2, Ep. 1 of Netflix’s The Dragon Prince. While I liked it, being the first episode, I found that a lot of the first episode was just recapping the previous season and re-establishing the characters.
