The Day I Died - my latest novel ( YA, post-apocalyptic sci-fi) is complete! I couldn't be more excited. :)

"It wasn’t easy adapting to the sensation of my flesh, rotting upon my face. The sun was hot—so very, very hot. I knew I needed to seek refuge from its blistering rays. Despite the warmth that surrounded me, I didn’t break a sweat. My body was changing. I knew I was becoming something monstrous. I no longer felt pain. And the hunger, the desire to feed; it was growing increasingly harder to control. I was becoming one of them—one of the undead."
