December 3

Don't forget to check yesterday out for a contest!

Today is Thad and Jay from Office Hours.
Thank God finals were over.

Thad had graded and graded and snarled until his grading finger was sore.

There was a knock on his office door, Jay's head popping around it. "Is it safe to come in?"

"Shut up." He grinned, tossed a ball point pen over.

Jay tried to catch it but missed, and it bounced passed the door and rolled into the hall. "So you're all mine for the night, then?"

"I'm done until the third week of January, thank you."

"What a coincidence, that's when I have to get back to it, too." Jay stalked toward the desk, eyes on him.

He hid his shiver, licked his lips. "Yeah... how interesting."

"Over a month without you being able to use the excuse of 'I have to be able to teach tomorrow'."

Oh, his ass was in trouble. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, I think you do. Did you know there are many uses for garlands?"

"Besides the tree?" He stood, grabbed his briefcase and put his laptop away.

"Uh-huh." Jay waggled his eyebrows.

"Perv." He turned off the lights.

"Yes." Jay's hand slid on his ass, cupped it.

"Thank God." He lifted his face for a kiss.

Jay kissed him like Jay always did -- with total focus, like kissing him was the most important thing in the world. By the time their mouths parted, Thad was weak-kneed, blinky, ready to go home.

"Come on. I only have four weeks to talk you into a Prince Albert; I don't have any time to waste."

"Never." Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God.

"That's what you say now. Just wait." Jay pulled his door closed and waited for him to lock it, then slid an arm around his shoulders,

Thad leaned in as they headed to the elevator. "You want to go get a beer?"

"No, I want to go get you." Jay smiled. "If you want to stop at the Oak or the Corner Pub, we can. I'd just rather take you home and have my wicked way with you."

They headed to the car, both of them knowing that home was waiting for them. Home and a christmas tree and presents and candy cane hot chocolate and each other.

It didn't get much better than that.
