The Echo had a two-year market presence before Google Home launched. The two-year gap is quite a challenge for Google Home. But, Google Home is unveiling updates that may as well establish the brand apart from the Echo.

Once the person activates Google Home by saying, “OK Google,” or “Hey Google,” he can issue a command requesting a call to go through.





Amazon Echo sports this feature, but the devices in question have to have the Alexa App installed. The presence of the app determines the function’s success. Amazon may have control of 70% of the market, according to market data, but Google Home updates are set to create a strong market presence for Google Home.





Google Home has updates that are appealing to the consumer market. The upgrade is attractive to Google’s customers. The company has a mobile market presence and heavy data infrastructure.
