Do you have “age ranges” for characters? Because I thought Demeter was supposed to look in her 30’s, as well as the older gods (Hades ect) and everyone’s suggestions are of older actors in their 50’s. I also thought Persephone was supposed to look like 20

I definitely do!!

When I was putting the show bible together, I defined age ranges for each character, general appearance (height, weight, etc. and other details that may or may not get fleshed out in a TV show.

For instance… if a Hades comes along that looks very little like the Hades I’ve had in my mind this whole time but the actor’s charisma, voice, and performance absolutely floor me, then I would go with that actor. Makeup, lighting, and setting will take care of the rest.

That said, here’s the show bible’s rough outlined ages for all the principle characters.

Persephone: 19-25

Aidoneus: 38-40

Demeter: 35-40

Hecate: 7 / 28 / 65

Sisyphus: 40-45

Zeus: 45

Minthe: 22-28

Thanatos & Hypnos: 25-27

Merope: 30-33

Metaneira: 50-65

Celeus: 65-75
