Unexpected Love from the New York Times
So this was a strange thing to wake up to. In fact, if I hadn’t broken my own rule and checked Twitter, I might have missed it entirely.
The New York Times reviewed Overnight Sensation. I’m astonished. The article is: Spring’s Best New Romance Novels: Hockey Players, Werewolves, 19th-Century Farmers and More.
They write: “There’s so much more happening in this sprightly book — Heidi’s odd jobs, two entire unrelated scandals, plenty of hockey — that as soon as the momentum flags you’re on to the next play.”
Thanks, guys! I don’t know how I got this nod, or why mine is the only self-published book in that roundup. But thanks for making my Thursday brighter!

How amazing to learn that you are self-published - but then you always came across as having a very organized and disciplined mind. I am also pleased that The New York Times is finally acknowledging your great talent. Heidi is the kind of heroine we all need to read about, with her never say die attitude. Thanks so much for blazing the trail - and in such an entertaining way, too!
