Review Time: Looking for Alaska by John Green

Hey Bookworms! Happy Wednesday to all of you. I just finished reading this amazing and heartwrenching book by John Green. Here’s my review:

“If people were rain,
I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.”

SYNOPSIS/BLURB

Before. Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home. His whole life has been one big non-event, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave “the Great Perhaps” even more (Francois Rabelais, poet). He heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. She is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. Then. . . .

After. Nothing is ever the same.

REVIEW

Oh my god. **gives standing ovation**. This book is absolutely heartbreaking and full of thrill. When you pick it up, its hard to put it down. Miles Halter has been fabulously cute as a narrator in the book. And my, what thinking does John Green have? The way he twists the plot so gently, makes each of his characters so believable makes the book so awesome. He is nothing short of a genius in the writing world. I’m blown away, literally. I read THE FAULT IN OUR STARS and wow, what a story. I have one complain, though. Why does my favourite character always have to die???? Anyways, I’m short of words.

RATING: **smacks forehead** doesn’t the standing ovation say it?

RECOMMENDED AGE GROUP: 13 plus. Strictly. You won’t understand half if you’re younger, however intelligent you might be. ADHERE!

Thank you so much guys for reading till the end!! I’m coming back soon with another post just as fun as this one. Find me, and let’s connect:
