Equal ways

I write these letters, piece by piece

piece after piece.

He was looking at me

I made contact

every time when it

was needed.

We have the same conviction,

in the same familiar way

of thinking and acting

but it is not, that easy.

As he is, still is and will always be

my grandfather,

I have the opportunity

to handle my new white stick

by his old way.
