Why I do not like Amazon
Perhaps I need to explain a little about mysef. Havng grown up in Germany during the 50s and 60s II had a lot of unpleasant experiences with an administration, that consisted of far too many whitewashed former Third Reich officials as Beamte in eduction, law and politics. It was no surprise that caused the so called Student Revoluion in the sixties, of which I was part.
The experience made it impossible for me thereafter to simply obey orders and I was never comfortable as an employee. form the age of 19 I always was my own boss and in 1978 co-founded a sucessful company in the music industry, so I am very much clued up on international contracts, trade and law, as I kept on the ball since then.
The first time I read an Amazon publishing contract was for a good friend of mine early in 2011. What they were proposing then was just short of slavery in return for paying peanuts. As I investigated their business system closer I grew a thorough dislike for them.
Today I don't like to buy from them, as - for one - they refuse PayPal - and I'll be damned before I let them have my bank details! The reason "What if?" is sold there is, that I support Doppler Press in their effort, to give the non conformists to societal views on gender and sexuality a voice.
Therefore all my works will be published through Lulu, I would be interested to hear your comments on that. Do you prefer ebooks to paper copies? Would you like me to do an ebook version of "Viper"?
Please talk to me here or find me on my site:

I really hope for your response and am looking forward to reading your views.
