The last passenger

The last passenger

He kneeled

for the time

of his Holy Service.

I watched his walk

in the light

of an empty church.

I could feel and I can see,

when someone is not present.

It is beautiful as a task

has been given, badly needed.

I do not think

I may not accept,

the name of a miraculous story,

for it is not important in that way.

I remember, our time of tea and light,

as if, it was yesterday.

Age is not a realistic letter

and I understood,

without my love,

that I would always wait

until the last passenger

is safe on board.
