Damn you mother nature for picking on the middle class! Again!

Wow, crazy wind storm here in SLC last night, and still ongoing today! But after seeing my friends facebook posts about damage, I feel lucky. The only thing I am missing is a garbage barrel that seems to have flown over the rainbow! No where to be found!
What gets me is that all the other damage I've seen so far, is all to people that just cannot afford to fix it, or can, but it will literally cripple them financially for weeks and months.
Why is it that even mother nature seems to pick on the less fortunate middle to lower classes?
Can we not get a break already ??????
Not that I wish damage or harm to anyone!
It just seems that 9 times out of 10, its the poorer, hard working, areas/states/countries/people getting traumatized by severe weather occurrences. The people that have little to no recourse when this sort of thing happens.
Just my personal vent today, folks! And I realize this is nothing to do with my books! But sometimes I do get time to think about other topics :)
