Silverwhite enamel

He was tall, as I saw him, walking,

in the evening, late, late at night.

The whole day, he had been working,

in his House, and he is supposed to work,

for in the night, that’s his attitude.

He has long, a long mind,

the soul the same

and legs were slow but decent,

decent fast, when he had to.

I had the luxury

to get to know him, both sides.

I learned what it was

to love an unconditional life

towards planet earth

by a simple base.

The modesty in his eyes

was a peaceful shelter,

a great richness

to the growth of my soul.

And now, at night,

I’ve been working.

I can still smell the flowers

in his garden.
