Persephone Mákaira

Blessed
Goddess of Spring

I
welcome You this day

To
all that the world will bring

The
nights grow shorter, the days longer

And
plants and animals come forth

Your
place on this plane grows stronger

As
the cold starts to shrink to the North

It
is a surety that the Underworld misses You

But
we are glad to see Your face

Goddess
Persephone hail and welcome

I
long to see Spring take its place.
