I close them

At night

in the dark of night

I sleep

but I do not close.

In the morning

before dawn,

light enters my eyes

I did not see.

The afternoon gives glow,

silent in water

the sunset lowers,

I close them.

The evening rests

in my hands

because there are eyes,

that do not touch.
