Read the Introduction to “The Virtuous Girl”
I was eight years old, going on nine, when I started to write this book. I wrote this book so that it could help a lot of young girls become virtuous, Christian, loving girls and young ladies.
You can become a virtuous girl at a young age. I decided to start being a virtuous girl one day when I had done something wrong and I got chastised for it. After I got chastised, I had a bad attitude about it and I snapped at my father when he had asked me to do something. I got chastised again.
Afterwards, I was in the bathroom and was thinking about what I had done, and I decided that it was no use to keep on being bad and having a bad attitude. I had done something wrong and had been chastised for it. I just might as well change it, and I did. When I came out I decided to write this book, and I do hope that it will help a lot of girls, just like me, to become virtuous girls and to grow up into virtuous ladies.
