I hope the down time can be recharging time for you, and that we don't lose you entirely to the lure of mainstream mundanity (although nothing you write is likely to be mundane.) The dodo is a friend of mine, I'll pass along a note to send your muse home soon. IF you are happy with taking the break, though, that's worth a lot.

Just thought Id addbe true to your own heart, and in the end everything will fall into the perfect places they are meant to be
Aleks, this is making me so sad. I only know the bare minimum of what happened around here. To lose your unique voice in M/M world is a sad thing to contemplate. I'm selfish. Don't go.However, you are the most important to yourself and you must do what is good for you. I'll respect your decision. Let's hope time away from the muse will help you to re-energize.
And don't you want to write more Brooklyn and Nathaniel. Take them off the cliff of almost there to something solid. I absolutely adore Counterpunch.

Like the first time I saw a dubbed movie with Robert De Niro. It was him on the screen but when he opened his mouth he was someone else. De Niro's Spanish-speaking doppelgänger.

I agree with you Norah. He'll know when the time is right. Until then we'll all have to keep our fingers crossed.
Hi,I recently found this speech and I have watched it many times since. What she says about muses and creativity sets my brain fire. It has given me the courage to start writing again when I had decided to wait until my degree was finished at University.
I am also surrounded by many well meaning friends and family that are doubters. My sister wants me to write the next great classic literature. I cannot tell her that I want to write m/m. She would simply faint.
I hope you watch this (its long) but I find it inspiring but at the same time reassuring.
