Cherise Sinclair Shannon--BookAddict is right. The spotter has a circuit, belongs to several clubs, and isn't always at the Shadowlands or the auctions, thus didn't get caught in the FBI net. Everything in its own time...

Cherise Sinclair For Linda & Master Sam? I honestly don't have anything figured out yet.

Dammit, I thought I was being really generous giving him a couple of scenes and I'd planned to wind it up there in the auction...then he and Linda just yank that nice sweet ending right away from me. Grrr.

So he'll get a book, but I swear, I'm going to make him suffer for being so obstinate.

SUFFER!!! SUFFER!!! That makes me

Make him suffer like this:

message 54: by Laura (Kyahgirl) (new)

Laura (Kyahgirl) LOL at Bookaddict, you are so funny. You're not a bit of sadist by any chance?

I think Sam is already suffering because he's gone a long, long time without finding the right sub to ring his bell and he knows he screwed up badly with Linda. Can't wait to see what he and Cherise come up with in the dark depths of their collective story telling minds!

I figured as much-- I cannot wait to see how that plays out! I'm somewhat in love with Sam, so I'm looking forward to his return. And Linda! I loved the brief glance we got of her.

message 56: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair OMG. LOL, Bookaddict. I'm going to copy that and put it on my DH's screensaver. Heheheh)

Thanks, Virginia and Shannon and Laura. I'll try to do Sam justice--after I get over being annoyed with him. ;-)

Every since my friend sent me a link for all these cute emoticons, I've been going wild with them. LOVE IT!

*Sigh* You KNOW you wanna know how it ends too... LOL

I am quite looking forward to seeing how sadistic our Sam can be (to you. TEE HEE)

But I am also quite looking forward to the febbies. I can't wait for ménage a trios Cherise style :D

message 59: by Laura (new)

Laura Cherise, I'm pretty sure I've read all your book, and I've loved them all! I totally can't wait for MLXavier's book or for Kouros and Buchanan and Sally (hopefully)! Master Sam...well I can take or leave him, but I'd definitely still read it!

Now, I have to re-read Hour of the Lion to remind myself who Zeb is!

Zeb is the guy who Vic goes upstairs with and wants to sleep with at first, but loses interest. And you know, if the female isn't interested, Mr Pokey can't come out to play! He was a good guy though. Treated her with the utmost respect. Loved him!

message 61: by Tammi (Gracie) (new)

Tammi (Gracie) Thank you so much for such a wonderful story! I loved each and every one of the Masters, but Raoul is my favorite by far. I really hope that Sally and Sam get their own books. Do you think Sally might wind up with the two FBI agents? That would be really cool!

message 62: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Tammi! And yes, Galen and Vance requested Sally, but I'm going to wait and see how the story unwinds. ;-)

message 63: by Laura (last edited Mar 01, 2012 11:47AM) (new)

Laura Carson I can't wait to get started on this one! I just recently started the series and devoured it. It blows all the others in the genre out of the water for me.
I am so excited to hear Sally will get her own book, I absolutley adore her.
I am also glad to hear there will be plenty more in the series.

message 64: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Laura! I hope you enjoy To Command--it's darker than the rest, so be warned. ;-) And you'll see Sally in this book, so you'll get an idea of what's awaiting her. LOL

message 65: by April (new)

April Love this series and had been waiting for this book for what seemed like forever. Loved it even though it was darker. I can not wait for Sally's book! She has always been a favorite and I am not surprised that it is going to take two men to keep her out of trouble!

I have also wondered about Sam. Am not usually drawn to his type of character but was intrigued after his interaction with Gaby in Make Me, Sir. He gained depth for me after the scene on the bar near the end of the book.

This book was a great addition to the series. Can not wait for the next two books!

message 66: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair I'm so glad you liked To Command & Collar, April!

And I still think it's funny how Master Sam refused to let me put him in a little 'evil sadist' box. Not that sadists are evil, but he sure wanted it made clear how multi-dimensional they are. Darn him--it would have been easier the other way.

message 67: by Candace (new)

Candace I'm really wanting to know more about Sally. I'm curious about her and her background and I wanna know what happens between her and Galen and Vance. EEK. So exciting!I love all of these books. They're amazing.

message 68: by Laura (last edited Mar 08, 2012 08:21AM) (new)

Laura Carson I finished it and it was fantastic! There was a lot of dark, sensitive material, but you handled it perfectly! The 24/7 M/S relationship is not my first choice but after I got into the book, it just felt right for the characters. Master Marcus is still my favorite, though :) Anxiously awaiting the next one.

message 69: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Candace and Laura! And 24/7 M/s isn't my personal thing either, but I know people who aren't satisfied with anything less, and it suits them right down to the ground. :-) Variety is one of the wonders of life.

message 70: by Amanda (new)

Amanda The Book Slayer Awesome! I love your books and can't wait for more to follow. I am hoping Ben(He is the one that sits in front right? I try not to mix names or forget.) gets a book even though he is not a Dom. But I am not picky, I love them all so far. ;o)

message 71: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Ben? LOL You've got a soft heart, don't you? No plans for him at this moment, but you never know. He's a sweetheart, after all. :-)

message 72: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Virginia! Now if Master Xavier would only stop being stubborn. ;-)

I'm a Hopeless Romantic at Heart. What can I say...I love reading about HEA's !

message 74: by Basia Rose (new)

Basia Rose LOL!!
I thought I was the only one wondering if Ben had a lovely woman hidden away somewhere!

message 75: by Liagiba84 (new)

Liagiba84 I can't WAIT for a new Club Shadowlands book. I've been a fan of Sam's ever since Gabi bit him on the bar, and you know...

I'm a little worried because I've never enjoyed hard-core sadist like Sam in any other stories I've read, but that's mostly because authors throw us into the story without helping us to understand the mindset of the sub and why it's meeting their needs. So I'm putting my trust in you Cherise!

And did anyone's else stomach drop with the scene between Sally and Kouros? I like the other guy too, and menage is great, but I'm definitely pulling for Sally and Kouros!

message 76: by Amanda (new)

Amanda The Book Slayer Okay I know I have commented a couple of times but I just devoured To Command and Collar in a day(normal for your books Cherise) and I have to say I am dying for the next one. When is it and how can I get an ARC?

message 77: by Katherine Leslie (new)

Katherine Leslie Cheung Oh my Lord! I am so happy that you are going to write more about Sally. I fell for her in Beth's story. And I think it'd be a nice change, since almost everyone, like Jessica, Andrea, Kari, they're all new to the club at the beginning of the story. Sally isn't and she seems so comfortable with her sexuality. I really really want to see her find her Dom!

message 78: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Eeks, I missed comments. Sorry, MommaSeymour. Thank you! It looks like Xavier's Dark Haven book will come out at the end of August (tentative), and then it's on to Master Sam. But Loose Id doesn't do ARCs--probably because the epublishing schedule is much quicker than traditional.

Thanks, Katherine! I enjoy trying to show a variety of experience in the lifestyle--and the different ways that people end up creating unique relationships. Then again, since many of my readers are new to BDSM, I tend to have more heroines that follow that trend. But Sally will definitely be fun. Her habit of critiquing a Dom is so...uh, familiar. ;-)

message 79: by Katherine Leslie (new)

Katherine Leslie Cheung Hi Cherise, I've read all Shadowlands books, and I must say your books keep getting better. I don't know if it's your writing skills or your storytelling skills or the plot,  but the books have definitely improved! So far my favorite is Make Me, Sir. Gabi is hilarious and I love the part where she sings Happy Birthday LOL. And I love how the book shows more of Z and Jessica, so I can see more of what happens after the happily ever after. I always thought Z was a mean Dom. But now I think he's super sweet.

message 80: by Nikki (new)

Nikki God! Such a great story!! Not once was I bored!!! Shadowlands is HOT!! We have some unfinished business still. Cherise please never stop writing!!!

message 81: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Nichole! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. And yes, there's some unfinished business. :-)

message 82: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Virginia! And I'll have to take a look at the Power Plays.

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Cherise, you are an amazing writer !! Please keep writing these wonderful books !!! I was wondering if there is a release date for Master Sam's story ? I'm having Shadowland's withdrawal !!

&& I also really love how you keep all the characters coming back in the books !! Please keep that up, I would love to see Jessica and Master Z have a baby hehe and Marcus and Gabbi get married. I know I'm so cheesy but they are my favorite and Dan and Kari but they got married and had a baby. !!

<3 <3

message 84: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thank, Michelle! No release date yet for Master Sam. Xavier (My Liege of Dark Haven) comes out August 28th, and if you like the Shadowlands, you'll probably enjoy his book.

And I'll see what I can do about Master Z giving Jessica a baby. But...do we trust Gabi to get through a wedding without disrupting the ceremony? ;-)

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

Isn't that the best part about Gabi, you will never know with her !

I will thank you <3 I am sure I'll love it !!

message 86: by Gea (new)

Gea I love the Shadowlands series, so I can't wait to read the next book :) But my favorite book of yours is The Dom's Dungeon and Master Drake caught my eye.. Is there any chance that he will get his own book in the future?

message 87: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Gea, thank you! Right now, I have a couple of Shadowlands due, then probably a paranormal, but after that, I might return to Seattle and see if I can upset Master Drake. ;-)

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

Cherise in reviews in Amazon quite a few lovers of your books are upset with the ending of this book. If you view them you will know what I am talking about. Do you have any thoughts on this? I am still on the fence, I was shocked myself at first but am trying to get it. (sorry for being vague but not wanting to include spoiler). Is there a valid BDSM reason for the way it ends?

yeah I know BookAddict but I was a bit disturbed and I actually felt a bit sick at first. Weird I know it's just a book. Go figure!! Just wondering if there is a point of view I had not considered. Flogging maybe but a
Bullwhip??

Hmm, for some people, a bullwhip can be done right. I've had a Domme use it once with me. Not on my back, but more to show what it can do. It was very gentle. :)

ahhh...thanks...obviously a no go area in my head and others...I think the only solution for me is a new Cherise book...so I can get the image out of my head...that sick feeling has come back since my post this morning.

So Cherise, please stop sleeping, eating, going out to smell the roses and produce a new book!!! I am sure it's what the Dr would order :) really it is *snort*
