So, I Did a Thing…

After months straight of writing and editing full-length novels, I needed a break. I needed something fun and easy (insert inappropriate joke here). Lately, I’ve seen a ton of romantic short reads on Kindle Unlimited. My brain conjured a simple and steamy story and I had to get it out. So I did.

As with all my books under the C.A. Worley moniker, I tend to come up with stories centered around the concept of fate, or, more specifically, fated mates/couples. Bastien’s Bite is no different. It’s shorter (probably a 2-hour read), but it still has my usual theme of falling for the one person in the universe who is just right for you. I also kept some suspense in it ’cause I like some danger in my paranormal romance.

There are some differences, though. This book is steamier than my Fate of Imperium Series, but not straight erotica. As someone who also enjoys quick-n-dirty reads, I had to write, well, quick-n-dirty. No, Mom, not that dirty. I also am releasing it on Kindle Unlimited (KU) where my other series’ distribution has gone wide. I had success with doing so, but much of my research has shown many romance authors who stay in the short read space do better with KU.
