OMG! I feel terrible for you and the other authors that Cristiane Serruyo stole from! It's disgusting that she/they feel that this is something that's okay to do. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm shocked that people do this, it's just too prevalent in today's society; with identity thieves and their ilk out there. I am happy to say that I do not have any books by Cristiane Serruyo and I never will. I hope that there is some reparation to you and the other authors and a way for justice to be eked out against Cristiane Serruyo.

This is horrible. I love your books. I searched Good Reads and it corrected the name to cristiane serruya is this one and the same? Why does Good Reads have her on their site if this is happening? Ugh can people just stop and do their own work!!
Nora- you go get her. She deserves all the punishment that comes her way. To steal from talented authors as yourself and take credit, she need to be tied up to a log in the Louisiana swamps and honey poured all over her and let the fire ants & gators take care of the rest. I know that cruel, but poetic justice

Thanks for the link. Very interesting read. I knew about the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew and VC Andrews' ghost-writers (although I did only learn about that about 15- 20 years ago). I also found out about the whole Janet Dailey debacle when it happened back in the 90's; which also raises questions about the severity of plagiarism and it's penalties. https://allaboutromance.com/a-2001-up...
Why are these people not in prison? Does she self publish for if not sue the publishers
