One of my favorite Ed Benes pages.  Again, sometimes the cheesecake is a little much and we'd have to ask him to tone it down. But a lot of hot, fan-favorite artists could not deliver this wordless page with the kind of quiet power that Ed delivers here, and that's why I was always thrilled to work with him.

He barely speaks English and I don't speak any Portugese. We barely ever actually communicated directly. Our lives and histories could not BE more different.

But he somehow knew what was in my brain better than almost any artist I've worked with.
