And I want to start by saying thank you to everyone for your condolences and sympathy, and for your understanding about the hiatus. I hadn’t expected it to go on so long, frankly, but I am my father’s executor and it is taking much longer than I expected to get that squared away so that I can actually execute things. CatBookMom Dealing with the paperwork at the end of a parent's or a friend's life is tedious and frustrating. Because my Managing Aunt died first, my mother had done all the hard bits before her stroke, and that made things so much easier. Please let me add my condolences to those of your other fans.

And a really big Thank You! for the comfort and enjoyment of your books, particularly Sorcery & Cecelia and the Frontier Magic series. They are comfort reads for me.

Valerie I was there in 2015, clearing out the house and then the struggle to sell it - the paperwork is incredible, and the demands for physical presence 4 hours from my home. But also some grace in those months, discoveries. Wishing you well.
