It Might Be A Little Late But It Is Good To Know
Yes,
it might be a little late for this information,
since
New Year's Day
has long gone,
but you can still find out about the any new law that will effect you the rest of the year.
Wherever you live,
there has to be a way for
Goverments
to relay these changes to its citizens.
From my
January 1st, 2016 Post
called
A State Of Mind.
*****
Every year,on
January 1st,hundreds of newCalifornia Lawsgo into effect that the general
Public
know nothing about.Since,ignorance of the
Lawdoes not exonerate you,you should probably take a little initiativeand find out what might affect your life.I know every year, the magazine
Westways, which gets delivered to your front door for free if you are a member of the AAA Roadside Assistance Program, lists theDMVor new"Driving Laws"which go into affect on the
1st
of the year. The city I live in has a few different websites, besides the local newspaper The Press-Enterprise,like theTemecula Patch, which will tell you what they feel are the top ten to fifteen new Laws
you should know about.I'm sure everyState in the Unionhas its own way of at least trying to inform the
Public
what is becoming a new
Law,but I can only talk about what
California
does.Everywhere else in the
World?Good luck to you.You are on your own.Back to
California. If you live in,what I like to call- A State Of Mind -they have a website where you can sift through the hundreds of new
Lawsand the thousands of changes to the already existingCalifornia Constitution,Statutes, and
Codes. The site is the California Legislative Information.
Maybe sifting through all the mumbo jumbo that even a good Lawyer
can't memorize, might give you the gumption to start aBallot Initiativeor aReferendumof your own.
To change what you feel are unfair laws
and legislation.Especially the
LawAB 1100.
Which has changed the fee you'll have to pay theAttorney Generalfrom $200 to $2,000 for starting your own
Ballot Initiative
or
Referendum.Making, getting involved in the political process, that much more costly
and out of reach for most citizens.
This is,Happy That Law Enforcement Officers Now Need A Search Warrant To Check Your Phones And Electronic Communications- SB 178,Jim Hauenstein,
And,
“Good people do not need laws to tell them how to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.”
