How to Wash your Walls and Windows – HYH – Week 10

Urgh…Up until now, the Hug Your Home Challenge has been all fun and organizing and making things pretty… but this week, well the fun stops here. It’s big girl pants time.

How can your home sparkle and shine when it’s covered in grime? I just made up that little ditty, what do you think? In all seriousness, it’ important that we occasional care for the bones of our home.

Cleaning your walls and windows doesn’t have to be some huge undertaking! In fact, it should be something you can accomplish in one afternoon and thankfully it only has to be a bi-yearly occurrence.

So as much as you don’t want to, it’s time to make your windows sparkle and get rid of the dust and smudges on your walls and baseboards. This is just part of that adulting crap that we all hate to do, but the act of maintaining and caring for your home will also make you love your home even more at the same time.
