Give to Others First this Christmas

Christmas is coming! So this year instead of asking your children for a list of things and wishes for themselves, ask them what they want to buy someone else.

Yes, a little radical? Not at all! Christmas is about giving not getting, right? So, start at home. Here are some tips:

Diane I like this idea to teach little ones why they are younger. We have tried to teach our grandchildren this over the years. The little one gets excited when he see them collecting for the poor. He wants to go and put something in. Our family takes on a child to give to each year. It makes the meaning of Christmas feel good.
