On Diversity

There is too much violence

surrounding our breaths,

Where a diverse religion sleeps,

An intolerance behest.

The monsters are in power

and the righteous are in chains,

What is good is overpowered

by the hands of the blood-stained.

If only there’s humanity

that dwells inside our hearts,

Then no man or deity

can tear this world apart.
