About the author....

Hello readers,
Thank you to everyone that has been reading my books and those of you who have left the reviews. I wanted to let you know a little about me..even though there is an "about me" bio. Sometimes our bio's are all "chipper," to draw attention to our readers. Although I love to write, love my readers and followers, life is not easy, and "chipper" for me. If you have read, "My Nightmare in Georgia, Based on a true story," and "Mother should have helped build a wall," you know that I am sick. I also suffer from a very severe form of PTSD and Depression. Some of us survivors are so broken, we don't always have happy endings, although we do try. I am bedridden most of the time. My PTSD became so severe is manifested into physical symptoms causing a blood disorder, and 5 autoimmune diseases. My childhood was stolen, now my adulthood. I struggle everyday to survive. I write all my books from my bed, while praying my dad catches a flesh eating disease, dying a slow painful death for all the lives he damaged. I appreciate each and every one of you for reading my stories and it truly makes me happy. Half proceeds from ALL my books from now on...forever, I have decided, will go to Janie's House - Janie's Fund, that front man of Aerosmith, my favorite band mentioned in "My Nightmare in Georgia," Steven Tyler, started for young girls abused by their fathers. it is a safe house for them to go, stay, get therapy, and get healthy and back on track. I am so proud of this cause. I will be writing the first check soon and I can't wait! Amazon takes a huge portion of our earnings, so the checks may not be that big, but at least it is something. So, when you buy one of my books, that is where your money is going.
Also, I wanted to beg and plead, if you could, please, please, please, help me out and leave me a review when you read my books on Amazon and Goodreads. These reviews are VERY IMPORTANT. I would be so THANKFUL if you do. It can be so short and simple. They will help me so much.
Right now, I am working on a re-write of "When Moms and Wives Lose Their Minds!" This is a comedy that went very well the first time I released it a ways back. I am sprucing it up a bit.
Don't forget to check out "My Nightmare in Georgia," Mother should have build the wall," "the Author," or any of my other great books! Please don't forget to leave a review! With love, A. L. Norton (you can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter below)
