Thoughts....

If you set expectations then you should give the  opportunity and support for those expectations to be met....there can never be real progress in anything that has not been given a chance. The world is so quick to give up on a child that isn't responding to the usual methods...these kids are all expected to be the same from what I noticed and if they are NOT well the world gives up they are NOT dealing with a difficult case but really they're just children maybe the approach is the problem ...maybe the world gives up too easily ...maybe we expect immediate unrealistic results while we put minimal effort.
Maybe we label, medicate, throw aside...maybe we give up too easily instead of trying harder, caring more, doing more.
We don't embrace ones uniqueness we actually act as if uniqness is a flaw. 
We expect perfection according to certain standards but do not give our all to give every unique beautiful child a chance to actually be able to achieve this perfection. We give up too easy and want too much .
And sure not every child is tossed aside some make it BUT we forget that we are in this city, country, planet together. The effects of tossing a child any child for any reason aside...to give up on them ...well that child effects all of us in so many ways.
People see only the small picture. People care to a point.
What do we do with kids we tossed aside the kids we gave up on...we don't see the beauty of a unique individual we see a problem.
