Forgetting Why We Fought in Afghanistan

Some of you might say that we were fighting the Taliban because they are an Islamic terrorist organization that harbored Al Qaeda. We sought to eliminate the base of operations they maintained in Afghanistan, but somewhere we got distracted and started nation building.
