Dear Readers:
It is time to swallow the ol' pride, and help myself to a heaping cup of humility.
The simple fact is this: my book sales are not going well. In fact, to be completely blunt, they are nonexistent. It has been seven years of incredibly hard work. Aside from the toil and trouble of actually producing the work, I have utilized social media, given away hundreds of free copies of my work, I have done book signings, fiddled around with merchandising and even bombarded Little Libraries all over the country. None of this has really worked. At the same time, I still believe in each and every one of my books. I fully realize that I am leaving myself wide open by doing this, but I am asking you as a friend, acquaintance, or family member to please consider- for a moment- helping me by sharing this link.
Along with sharing the link, maybe you'll consider reading a book of mine you haven't tried, or leaving a review (those are so unbelievably important) on one that you HAVE read. All I ask is that you be honest and, above all, fair. Perhaps you'll consider suggesting a certain book of mine to a friend or a family member, or maybe even a book club. I am a completely independent author, and I want to know if I have truly taken this thing as far as it will go. I am sincerely asking for your help to become what I want to be in life: an author.
