Carrot snacks?? Anything resembling celery snacks?? Sure isn't cheese and crackers (sigh)....Sure glad you are better, and always looking forward to your books.
First, you too! 2019 has not treated either of us gently. I'm glad you are doing better, that your dad's surgery was successful and your sister's biopsy turned out negative.
I am really looking forward to the next book so I will make sure to check out the first few chapters. Although, it will only whet our appetites for more significantly. Thanks for sharing your talented storytelling skills with us.
Get one of those Air Fryer ovens! They are amazing!
The cook everything super fast (even from frozen) and all those foods you liked fried.....They do it better. Just season, Air Fry ( no grease to clog arteries) and eat!
Had to switch for my husbands heart disease and cholesterol. Someone gifted one to us and I am blown away as to how fantastic it is.
Oh, be careful, the cook EVERYTHING faster!
Jeaniene, in October of 2016, after the perfect storm of out of control autoimmune and a super virus, I was 5 or 6 days into a hospital stay when I went into septic shock and had THREE “sudden cardiac deaths”. At least that’s what my cardiologist likes to call it, but I go the high road by sticking my fingers in my ears and humming really loud!! ;-) Very luckily, I had an aide that kept telling me over and over and OVER that I was ABSOLUTELY NEVER to take my heart monitor off, even if I needed to use the restroom or any other reason I could come up with, since I hated it. She saved my life. I was put on a ventilator for 7 days, to give my heart a chance to heal. I ended up in the hospital for a total of 30 days, got a stent within a month and a half of leaving “the spa”, had to wear an external defibrillator and in February 2017, I got an internal defibrillator. I’m not saying I’m in perfect health, far from it. But I have changed quite a few things, hoping to never end up in that position again. I’m not telling you my story for sympathy, just the opposite. I want to make sure you are around for a long long time!!! I’m not sure of your age, but I turned 44 this past November, so I hope that helps narrow that down. Our health is the most important thing we have, so we have to be our own advocates, even when we are only fighting ourselves. By the way, from what I’ve read and heard, butter is a healthier fat than margarine. If your doctor said no go, then no go, but maybe ask about the trans fats and alll that in the margarine! Most importantly, take care of you, dad, and both sisters!!

I hope you continue to get better. Hugs to you.

Waiting anxiously for next week.
