Crystal

She knelt down, by the river.

Her hand felt the need

to touch a silver stone in the water.

Around the water, there were bushes,

she saw.

She didn’t speak the language of the country;

she has another accent.

The stone looked familiar

but didn’t feel right.

It has a name, that picture

and I’ve understood

that a woman who carries silence,

as a rock above all waters,

shines Crystal water

in a sky of soft tones.
