Almost Ready to Publish!

It has been a long road from discovery to understanding, and an even longer one from living it to writing it, but the new book is almost done.

At over 18,000 words it is my longest book yet, and also (I firmly believe) my best. Mistress has been working carefully with me on each draft, reading, critiquing, and driving me to think about the ‘why’ of my relationships. In keeping me honest, and making sure I captured all the essential moments, she has made it a far better book.

I wrapped up the complete first draft Friday night, finally polishing the pivotal scene of my formal collaring, and now Mistress is reading through from beginning to end. I’m sure there will be a few small edits to come out of her review, but I’m working on the cover while she reads, and it looks like we will meet her demands to publish before Valentine’s Day.

It’s a big story, full of pain and pleasure, and I am anxious for you to read it.
