The white age

I have been at the white age.

Nowadays, I am silent, and quiet.

All the places, I’ve seen,

there was a child within a body

she would be.

I have a passion for time,

since I’ve become 44 years.

At night, my pair of glasses is my profession.

In the afternoon, tea comes to dinner.

A sky listens in the skies

of an old dictionary.

The label turned old

but the colour shines.

I know, it’s not clever or smart

to give in to wisdom

but I have the watch.

When I go out, I am quiet,

almost silent, do not, ask me why.

I’ve been at the white age.
