Playmaker review, LP Dover
I read this book as part of the ultimate reading challenge, February challenge: sports romance.
I really enjoyed this book. I hadn’t read any of the previous (or following) books, and I think I might have to change that, but I liked what I read!Maddox had me straight away. He’s incredible, a bad boy with a heart of gold.At times Lacey annoyed me a little, just because of how she didn’t trust Maddox.I think this was easily read as a stand-alone, although I would’ve liked to have seen an extended prologue, and more of Vegas.I liked that this was a twist on the whole married in Vegas thing.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable read, give it a go!
