So I just read Receiver of Many in 2 days (shirking end of term essay writing responsibilities... it was that good!) and I was wondering about the children of Hades and Persephone mentioned in the story (specifically the name Zagreus). I'm a little rusty o

Oh no! :O

I hope you got it done on time!

There are a few sources that talk about two of Persephone’s children, mostly in the Orphic hymns, one that later Byzantine-era writings directly attributes to Hades but with no mention of a mother.  However, you can read between the lines about each of the children and see that there’s a high likelihood that before the Greek deities were syncretically combined into a single pantheon that those children belonged to both Hades and Persephone.
