Random Stuff For A Rainy Day

All I have for you today is a bunch of random thoughts.

It's been rainy here. And windy. Really windy.

Our boat is up on the hard, basically propped up on stilts. It's like living in a weird tree house. I kept wondering if the wind was going to topple it over during the middle of the night. It didn't. That was a relief.

Rainy, windy days make me want to take naps.

Naps are better with cats cuddled up around you. We don't have any cats. If we could have a cat, we'd adopt Garfield, one of the marina cats. He's a great cat.

We still don't have any resolution on our boat, so we continue to be in waiting mode. It sounds like the weather in the Bahamas has been atrocious - cold front after cold front - so maybe it's not such a bad thing that we're stuck up on the hard in Florida.

Does that sound like rationalization? I think so too. It'd be so much better to be in the Bahamas right now.

Do you know what's great on a rainy, windy day? Pancakes. Lots and lots of pancakes.

What's the most embarrassing show that you find yourself compulsively watching on TV? I'd tell you what I binge watched yesterday, but you'd probably think less of me.

Okay, I'll tell you. Baby Ballroom Dancing. Phew. It feels good to get that off of my chest.

What's been happening in your neck of the woods?

Jennifer Lane Some might judge me for loving Project Runway, but I don't feel embarrassed about watching it. I love to view the creative process.
