The Howling
Don't flatter yourself that friendship authorizes you to say disagreeable things to your intimates. The nearer you come into relation with a person, the more necessary do tact and courtesy become. Except in cases of necessity, which are rare, leave your friend to learn unpleasant things from his enemies; they are ready enough to tell them.-Oliver Wendell Holmes

Sunday
I went bicycling to Lake Chabot. There was no sign of Mark on the running trail. I returned home and simply slept.
When I woke up I went to mom's house for a plate of spaghetti and some orange juice. I lounged around and watched a thriller called THE HOWLING.
At 8PM I went to NATION's BURGERS and came back to watch some Nazi movie starring Farrah Fawcett. I foolishly went to bed on a full stomach. It didn't feel too good.
I returned Carla Guzman's phone call.
Carla said, "Michael, don't you worry about the Camaro car rental. It's my problem."
"Okay, I'm happy to hear that."
If you don't learn to laugh at trouble, you won't have anything to laugh at when you're old.
