My speciality

In my first class, not my first exam,

the teacher already knew my speciality.

The other students regarded it all,

as a good joke.

In my younger years,

I used to play at the square,

while we were inventing new ways

to be a pioneer!

It doesn’t matter if the play of games

takes a short or long time;

it really doesn’t.

Because, all that it takes

are two good and strong arms

that will be silenced by a joke or two.

I knew then, it was my speciality

and it would last, longer

than a short visit.
