Diary Drabble: Stable

This is about as far from his life as it’s possible for Will to get. Gone is his open-planned office, the regular arguments about whose turn it is to make a round of tea. In its place there are rolling hills, green pastures, and more animals to make conversation with than people. Which he likes a lot. Far better than people any day.

Of course, there are exceptions. Like Emil, who winks then nods towards the stable before disappearing inside.
