All my birds

All my birds

Even though, it is the second half of January,

all my birds returned, yesterday!!

I know, spring is coming, for a couple of days.

A lot of birds are happy, now, since a long time!

I did not expect all those birds in my afternoon,

but I saw them coming, going, over and over again,

high in the sky!

I was happy,

I am happy.

Then, I moved my body closer into my room,

turned my head right in the middle, a little below.

I closed the door, took my pen

and wrote it, All down.

Een hofdame kwam te laat en was nog niet klaar met het vastzetten

van haar zilveren hoofdband toen de gifdrank al in haar beker

werd geschonken.

Norea hief, zoals het gebruik gebood, als eerste haar gouden beker,

ze keek naar de heldere drank en zag An-Nams blauwe ogen erin.

Ze lachte triomfantelijk naar hem, hief haar beker als een groet

en leegde hem in één teug.”
