New Year “Adventures” and a Strange Gift

I don’t know how things are at your house, but in the Nelson homestead, 2019 has begun with a whimper rather than a bang.

A busy holiday season with lots of traveling, trying to jump right back into the swing of things with very little break, and violent shifts in weather all conspired to produce several days of this, in varying stages:
