Higher than Time

That’s what I did.

They’ve asked me, my family members.

I did, what was expected.

I never knew that simplicity

could and can be so strong.

When I was away, I was still, there.

I see my people every day.

There were a lot of men.

There were a lot of women too.

I was doing my job.

At first, roots were made in woods.

Woods have no mystery, no more.

If you ever ask me a question,

I reject it, with my left hand, down,

on the right.

One question was asked.

That’s what I did. Tears.
