I'm a bit late in posting this week's snippet. Hence, the link to my blog on the SSS website isn't active. Oh well, I might as well, mightn't I? We return to Oracle, and this time, into the mind of the killer:

Oh, how he wished he could have been at the theatre when his work was discovered, to see the looks on the police officers' faces! Would they be puzzled, or shocked? Or would they see his work for the masterpiece that it was?


No, as much as he was dying to, he could not risk returning to the scene, as much as it called to him. He vowed to be stronger than Orpheus; he could not look backwards now that he was so close to his goal.


He would not risk losing his Eurydice.
