MIRROR MIRROR: REFLECTING CHARACTER QUALITIES IN 'IN HER SHOES'

During my senior year of high school, my AP English teacher used to tell us that every book can teach us something. I remember reading Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest shortly after and coming to the realization that Mr. Hiskes was right. I don’t remember what I learned, but I remember that I learned something.

The idea of learning something from everything you read has stuck with me, even 12 (!) years later. And now, as I read through the Book Roulette, I’m searching for nuggets...
