Help out my kiddo + earn some karma points!

I am back in the states, sunburned, still recovering – but so fucking glad I went! Dani René is glorious, South Africa is incredibly beautiful, but now it’s back to the real world! I’m *already* back at my day job today!! I’m also back to being a mom and I’d love to ask you guys for a favor. No matter WHERE you live, if you could write a little postcard / note and mail it to my daughter’s kindergarten class, that would be AMAZING! Shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, and I’d love you forever!

Mrs. Dawson’s Kindergarten class at Tadlock Elementary is studying about the Gingerbread Man as well as holidays and traditions from around the world. In the next few weeks, the class will be reading different versions of “The Gingerbread Man.” The class will also see a(stuffed) gingerbread man that will visit each kindergarten class here at Tadlock Elementary, but the gingerbread man will eventually run away to find other exciting adventures.

The kindergarten teachers have asked us to recruit family members and friends to help make the search for The Gingerbread Man more exciting. Would you please write a note or send a postcard to Mrs. Dawson’s kindergarten class stating that you have seen the gingerbread man?  Please mention something in the letter that is associated with your area. For example: New York/Statue of Liberty;Florida/beaches; Colorado/snow. Perhaps you could say something like . . . “As I was watching the Dallas Cowboys, I looked out the window and saw the cutest little gingerbread man run across the yard.” Don’t forget to include the child’s name and your relation to the child. (If you want to do this, just say it’s for “Grey” and you’re a friend of her mom!)

The Kindergarten class will be tracking the gingerbread man’s travels on their classroom map. One day, they might receive a letter from Dallas and the next day Hollywood, CA.  Not knowing where he will be next is the exciting part!

Thanks to you, they will have a fun time with this project beginning in December and going into the first week in January.  So, please have the letter or postcard mailed on or before December 31st. (You will find the mailing address below)

IMPORTANT:  The kindergartners DO NOT know anything about this activity. Please help us keep this a secret.
