About These New Tumblr Restrictions…I haven’t received notifications, I haven’t had any of my...

I haven’t received notifications, I haven’t had any of my posts flagged. But that doesn’t make me safe from New Tumblr.
But let’s face it: I’m an erotic romance author.
And while I usually don’t post sexy content previews here, I will certainly be linking to them in the future since that’s my fucking livelihood.
There are several positives if I move Wordpress. As it stands, Wordpress doesn’t have these sorts of content restrictions(for now, thanks a lot SESTA). There’s a lot of pluses to moving there.
The site is more dynamic, I would be able to more easily manage my website and use existing Wordpress themes or commission a theme that would make it look more professional instead of looking like it was built with used chewing gum and duct tape pealed off the side of a storage shed in 1997 since that’s essentially what I did because I taught myself how to hand code html and css before html 5 and didn’t much care to relearn or expand on the whole fucking thing because I had other things to do like write books.
But there are negatives too.I have spent six years on this site building a 5k to 6k-strong following, and outside metrics push that number from about 30k to as much as 50k when I consider anonymous visits and mirrors elsewhere.
I already have a Wordpress set up.I use the same name across all social media platforms. Wordpress, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Goodreads, MySpace, DeviantArt, Vimeo, Reddit, Instagram, and my .com …All of them:
THERKALEXANDER
THERKALEXANDERTHERKALEXANDERTHERKALEXANDER
Everywhere. Except FF, FP, AO3, etc where I still use KataChthonia
I have my producer, Summer Helene, to thank for that, since it was her people who said that I should do that to make it easier to find me and LO AND BEHOLD it might become necessary.
But for now, I’M STAYING RIGHT HERE.
I’m backing everything up, but I’m staying here because YOU are here. I will, however, be going dark for tomorrow in solidarity. I won’t be logging on.
So toodles for now, and I’ll see you again on Tuesday.
