Favorite Reads of 2018

Books are “a uniquely portable magic” to quote Stephen King. I can’t think of a better stress reducer than curling up with a good book.  Books have always been there for me and so I thought I would share some of my favorite reads of this year. Some of these authors are longtime standards, and others I am reading for the first time. That is the beauty of picking up a book by an unknown author.  They can suddenly become a fan favorite. Here are some of mine for 2018.
